Sweet Basil

Basil has a rich history, that was used across ancient cultures. The plant is native to India and Southeast Asia, with it's earliest reference dating back 5,000 years to ancient Indian Vedic texts. Basil essential oil is a pale liquid  often amber color, with a herbaceous licorice aroma.
