Peppermint
Peppermint is a perennial herb native ​to Europe and the Middle East. It grows to 3 feet tall and has hairy leaves with serrated edges and spikey purple flowers. Also known as Corn Mint, Peppermint is one of the oldest documented medicinal herbs. The oil is clear to light yellow and has a sharp minty aroma due to its high menthol content.

Peppermint should be used by care. Not to be used for children and should be avoided in cases of cardiac fibrillation and G6PD deficiency. It is a potential skin irritant, and should be avoided in the bath. Some essential oils may not be suitable or safe for certain individuals.
