Cedarwood
Cedarwood is a slow-growing coniferous evergreen tree. It is also known as Red Cedar, and can grow to heights over 100 feet. Originally used by Native American, Cedar has played an important role in North American life throughout history. This Cedarwood variety, Virginian,​ is often preferred because it is not endangered like other varieties. Cedarwood oil is a pale yellow to brownish liquid, with a sweet woody scent.
